My name is Donna Romero and I am creating this petition for the inmates being held in the Special Management Units in Tecumseh Nebraska.These inmates have regular sceduled classification hearings done by the Directors Subcommittee generally every six month's.According to Administrative Regulation, the inmate shall have the opportunity to refute the information presented and to submit any pertinent information.These hearings are not recorded at this time.Therefore the inmate does not have proof he was not allowed to speak on his behalf.To my knowledge all court hearings are recorded in the United States for protection of the judicial system and the other person.Inmate hearings are recorded for all other actions in this facility therefore this petition is to demand all hearings including classification hearings be recorded for protection of the inmate and the correctional facility.
