Bring back John Glover/Lionel Luthor to Smallville

Lionel Luthor was "killed" in the last episode by his son Lex Luthor. While this is what is supposed to happen, it should be done in the Final Season, which this is not. Killing him prior to this is a shot in the foot for the show.

John Glover was contracted for Season 8 as well, however it seems he will not take part in it, as his character is now dead.

This is a petition to bring him back into the show, with whatever explanation the writers want to give, such as :

-Jor-El does not allow his emissary to die, so he keeps part of him alive, or reussrects him later
-It was actually a clone Lionel made, as he knew Lex would try and kill him
-The Brainiac copied Lionel's memories earlier, and he controls whether Lionel actually dies or not
-Lionel has a meteor power, where he wakes up, in the casket, and Clark hears him screaming and banging underground, saves him.

John Glover was basically the 3rd most important part of the show, behind Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum). And with reports that Rosenbaum does not want to be on for the entire Final Season, only making sporadic appearances, that would make the show even weaker.

It is most important that you reinstate the powerful actor, the veteran, the accomplished John Glover. It is a shame and a disservice to kill the character off so soon into the final chapter.
