We as concerned citizens call upon the Minister of Indian and Northern Affairs to act without delay upon the concerns in Attawapiskat.

Toxic fumes are being released into the airways of children and families due to a decades-old oil spill that hasn't been cleaned up and taken care of by the government of Canada.

The Conservative government has ignored these problems and the issues that the people of Attawapiskat have to face on a daily basis.

Many children are suffering physical symptoms because of the fumes emitted from the waste.

Upon signing this petition you are showing your concerns for the people of Attawapiskat having to deal with the issues alone and urging the Minister of Indian and Northern Affairs, Chuck Strahl, to take immediate action in resolving these issues, including a public apology to the community of Attawapiskat for the governments lack of timely response on this issue of social justice.
