Accreditation

“Hello to all who have chosen to read the information in the following petition.” This petition is to make a New Mandated Law for Accreditation. I have enrolled into several colleges throughout my life. I have been lied to upon enrollment more than once. Colleges will misrepresent themselves and say anything for you to sign on the dotted line of the enrollment application for admissions. Currently, there are No Mandated Laws for Accreditation. Every year Congress pushes the accreditation problem to the side and puts it in the rejection pile. Accreditation has to be mandated for any educational institution to except educational credits from any accredited educational institution. This shall in turn change the accreditation requirements.

Here are the ACCREDITATIONS that are WORTH your MONEY.

Regional Accreditation Agencies

Middle State Association of Colleges and Schools (Commission of Higher Education)

New England Association of Schools and Colleges (Commission on Technical and Career Institutions and Commission on Institutions of Higher Education)

North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (The Higher Learning Commission)

Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges

Western Association of Schools and Colleges Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges and Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities

Nationally accredited institutions WILL ACCEPT credits from regionally or nationally accredited institutions. Regionally accredited schools DO NOT ACCEPT credits from nationally accredited institutions.

This means that if you hold an Associate’s Degree from a nationally accredited school YOU WILL have to START OVER if you later decide to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited school. If you hold a nationally accredited Bachelor’s Degree, you may not be eligible to enter a Masters program at a regionally accredited institution.

All who sign this petition are stating, that you the undersigned agree that no matter where the accreditation comes from, so long as they are accredited, the educational institution shall except educational credits to be transferable to the educational institution, in which, you choose. You the undersigned agree and affirm that you no longer want to have to pay more for educational credits, in which, you have already received. (Example: You took COM 101 and this class cannot be transferred, so you will have to retake the course, if you do not CLEP the course.) This in turn makes you pay for the course twice.

I am currently in this same situation with the accreditation, and I know there are others out there who wish to have this changed. Please join me with our first step to mandating this law. I will be sending this petition to Congress. So take a stand against us paying for educational expenses, in which, we have already paid for!
