Stop the Captcha madness

To:  Anyone who uses a computer

We, the undersigned, declare war on captchas. These funny, blurry images of distorted letters and numbers are getting too hard to read for anyone, including people with excellent vision. Being visually impaired, I feel there could be something done to replace this system. Some websites ask a question like "What is your mother's maiden name"? or something you can answer if you need to. Something a human being would know. After all, bots don't have mothers or father, do they? Some of the places I've heard about that have captchas include:

MySpace
Google
Various websitew that you register for to have an account with them (I don't remember the sites names right now)
Certain survey sites

Get the picture? If captcha keeps on going the way it is, I'm not going to do any more filling out forms unless I can read the captcha. We ask Google and Myspace, in addition to any other websites that require you to fill out a captcha, to end this madness once and for all.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
