National Holiday on 8 April 2005

To:  Her Majesty's Government

We, the undersigned petition Her Majesty's Government to declare Friday 8 April 2005, the date of the wedding of the Prince of Wales and Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles, a national holiday in the United Kingdom.

We ask this, so that we may metaphorically join in with the nuptuals of our heir to the throne. And as a by-product, we'd all get a free day off work.
