2009 Cleveland Browns |
To: Mr. Randy LernerDear Mr. Lerner,
Let it be known that the Cleveland Browns fans are sick and tired of seeing a losing franchise with no direction at head coach as well as GM. We love our Cleveland Browns and would love to see our team finish with a winning record, return to the playoffs, and win the Super Bowl. We are urging you to get a proven super bowl champion as head coach and a GM who is also proven. We want people who have been successful and know how to coach a team into the superbowl as well as know how to build a team that can get into the super bowl. As far as the GM goes, we also want them to have a proven track record of drafting players. We are sick to our stomachs of having ten years of wasted draft picks. If it weren't for the wasted draft picks, this team would be in a whole lot better shape. A championship caliber team has stability in the organization and right now we haven't had any of that since our return. We do not need Butch Davis, Romeo Crennel, Chris Palmer, or Eric Mangini, Phil Savage, and George Kokinis. We need proven winners such as Mike Shanahan, Mike Holmgren, Brian Billick, Bill Belichick, Jon Gruden, and Tony Dungy. These guys are proven head coaches and have super bowl rings to show for it. We do not care what it takes to get a winning super bowl head coach and GM as head coach of the Cleveland Browns. Mangini must go!Sincerely,
