We as American citizens believe that a person willing to donate blood to the American Red Cross, or any other subsequent companies/organizations should not be disqualified due to his/her sexuality and/or any sexual encounters with a same sex partner. It is in the best interest of society as a whole that any person who would normally not be eligible to donate blood, be permitted to do so with no ramifications and be treated as a normal blood donor.
