Re-release of Air Jordan IV

We the customers of Nike inc./Jordan Brand request that Nike consider the re-retro of the Jordan IV in the year 2004. At the time of possible release, it will have been five years since the sneakers were first re-released. When they were first re-released, many people missed out on them possibly due to a limited number produced as a result of prior lackluster retro sales. Those who missed out on what might arguably be the most popular Air Jordan sneaker next to the Air Jordan XI’s are looking to purchase a pair (many are looking to buy several). The sneakers design is quite similar to the Air Jordan III, which was recently re-retroed in the white/black/cement gray/fire red style. The Air Jordan Retro III’s sales clearly show the potential of an Air Jordan Retro IV release. The recent retirement of Mr. Michael Jordan will translate in to higher sneaker sales, as the older Air Jordan models will always be associated with whatever accomplishments he achieved during the season the sneaker was worn. Demand is also increasing due to the recent re-airing of past Air Jordan commercials featuring Michael Jordan and Spike Lee. With a price point of $100 and a high demand, Nike inc./Jordan Brand stands to everything gain and nothing to lose from this release. In order to maximize sales, Nike inc./Jordan Brand should stick to the original design of the sneaker, i.e. maintaining the “Nike Air” on the heel and releasing the original colors first (White/black, black/red, etc.).

Based on the evidence presented and the signatures from of petition, Nike inc./Jordan should have enough feedback to warrant a possible re-retro.
