Dear Obama Campaign:

Barack Obama must NOT name Hillary Clinton as his Vice-Presidential candidate. It would kill the whole idea of his appeal which is a new politics, both in philosophy and in tone. It will invite controversies and her high negative ratings onto his ticket. There are other qualified men and women in the Democratic Party that can enhance Obama's appeal without sending mixed messages. The Obama campaign has been a disciplined and united one, with no divergences in philosophy, and with no dissension. We hope that you will resist any pressure from polls, the media or the Democratic National Committee (DNC), to include her on your ticket.

The country, and the younger generation especially has been promised a new era in politics, an era that is free of cynicism, that is future oriented,an era in which "being vetted, trench warfare and fighting" are somehow badges of honor. We urge you to maintain your integrity, please do not waver.

Stay fresh and exciting by looking to the future, and avoid the quicksand of the Washington politics of the status-quo and the past.
