Mr. Mark Should Erase His Sign Saying "911truth.org"

To:  Ann Arbor Public Schools

An orchestra teacher, earlier this week, wrote on the blackboard "911truth.org". When asked by a student to take it down, he replied, quote, "I would think that you, of all people, should want to know the truth...I don't believe in the government's lies." He refused to erase it.

The 9/11 truth movement, in case you did not know, is a conspiracy-theory group that believes the government caused the Towers to blow up, that there is no al-Qaeda and that the planes were never hijacked.

I don't know if this teacher lost any relatives or friends in the attack, but even if he did, the fact that he is bringing his own opinions and his beliefs and posting them in his classroom is out of line.

The people who signed this petition believe that this teacher, Mr. Mark, should be forced to erase the sign on the basis that teachers in public schools should not reveal to students their beliefs unless they are revelant to the class.
