We, the undersigned, ask that the Liga Juvenil De Baseball De New Haven and league commissioner Reynaldo Reyes actually be held to the same standards of fairness, community, and decency they claim to enforce under their leadership. The location of the league is New Haven, CT. If the league is going to advertise itself as being a caring, and nurturing, family-like environment then the people running the league must be held responsible when they fail to follow their own directives. This petition was created, first, as a response to the recent controversy surrounding the league and its conduct towards the Scott Family and, second, for well-being and unity of all the families who are part of the league. Numerous news outlets have reported the story and its details.
