True Free Speech Day

To:  U.S. Congress

May 1st of every year should be declared "True free speech day" wherein you can say whatever you want to anybody, with no consequences. This apples to work, home, school, public, on the telephone, over the Internet, and any other form of communication. Nothing said on this day could be held against you legally, or even personally, under protection of US law. I feel that this day would allow people to let out stored up rage, and other emotions that they kept in for any given reason, and lessen the amount of actual break downs or eruptions that occur throughout the year. For example, instead of going off on somebody while you're at work, you write it down, and wait for May 1st to arrive, and then tell them how you feel. It would eventually become a holiday that is fun, celebrates our American freedom of speech, and also lowers national stress levels.
