Restore "The Daily Show"

We, the signatories of this petition, (otherwise known as the rest of the world, not including the United States) take serious issue with Viacom®’s (owns Comedy Central®, who intern are the creators of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart®”) decision to stop allowing all but U.S.A. citizens from viewing of “The Daily Show” online. As of the date of the submission of this petition, users FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD have been blocked from watching “The Daily Show” online.

This action clearly assumes that by blocking the “FOREIGN” access to their internet site, that NON-AMERICAN individuals will purchase the shows on APPLE’®S iTunes® store®.

The idea that Viacom® is exploiting opportunities during a GLOBAL DOWNTURN is capitalism at its most EGREGIOUS , and we will boycott ANY COMEDY CENTRAL® SHOWS from iTunes® to VOICE OUR OUTRAGE!

...And isn’t this behavior by Viacom® exactly the fascist irony that his show satires!

Nós, os abaixo-assinado desta petição, (também conhecidos como sendo o resto do mundo, não incluindo os Estados Unidos da América), estamos bastante ultrajados com a Viacom® (que possuí a Comedy Central® que, por sua vez, são os criadores do programa “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart®”) e a sua decisão de não autorizar o acesso a todos os utilizadores que não são cidadãos norte-americanos. À data da submissão desta petição, utilizadores de todo o mundo estão a ser bloqueados de puderem assistir online ao “The Daily Show”.

Esta acção assume claramente que, ao bloquearem o acesso de “ESTRANGEIROS” ao website, que indivíduos “NAO-AMERICANOS” irão comprar os programas através da loja iTunes® da Apple®.

A ideia de que a Viacom® está a explorar oportunidades durante uma RECESSAO GLOBAL é capitalismo na sua forma mais ULTRAJANTE, e nós iremos boicotar todos os programas da Comedy Central® à venda através da loja iTunes®, para EXPRESSARMOS O NOSSO ULTRAJE.

... E não é este o comportamento por parte da Viacom®, exactamente a ironia facista que o programa satiriza?
