STOP AVP 3 FROM BEING MADE

This is a petition directed towards Fox Studio executives specifically and to the directors of the movie AVP:Requiem, Colin and Greg Strause. Please do not make a 3rd AVP movie. I understand both AVP1 and 2 made enough money to warrant another sequel so as to set up a franchise, but Paul WS Anderson butchered the Alien and Predator stories and the Bros. Strause did not do either franchise justice.

AVP Requiem was a waste of the money put into it. The characters were so atrocious and cliche, a 16yr old could've written the script. The film was not well shot at all. It was too poorly lit, no color palette and the cinematography sucked. The acting was horrible. This film did not capture the spirit of any of the Alien or Predator films. Yes it had gore. Yes there was a new pred/alien hybrid. That doesn't make up for how much this movie blows.

It is with my uttmost respect for both Alien/Predator franchises and the true fans of those films to ask you to not make an AVP3. At the very least spend money an a Alien or Predator film and not an AVP film and not directed by the Bros Strause. I have a good story as I'm sure many others do and it should be heard by Fox execs, be it a treatment or rough draft or basic story. It can be no worse than these films. I have been watching movies since I was a small child, over and over. I have worked in a movie theater at all levels so I know what audience like. I'm very passoinate about film. I believe my ideas collaborated with the right people will make for an entertaining film. If Fox is going to waste money, waste it on my idea.

So the main point of this petition is to get Fox to hear my idea before committing to another crappy AVP movie. It's time to make a movie for the fans and I believe that if Fox really cares about film, but will greenlight such sub-par films, then they will be completely entertained by my idea. It can't hurt to hear me out.
