We, the undersigned fans of our beloved Los Angeles Dodgers do hereby urge the ownership/management team of the Los Angeles Dodgers to resign Mr. Manny Ramirez to a long term contract after the 2008 season.

While, we understand their are economics involved, we also realize the fact that Manny Ramirez being a part of the Los Angeles Dodgers also increases revenues to help offset those costs. Between increased ticket sales, which also increase consessions receipts. Additionally, the ingenius marketing staff of the Dodgers will undoubtedly continue to find ways to market him for added revenues.

Lastly, the fans support the Dodgers and have continued to do so for the past two decades without much sucess in the postseason. Now, we have the offensive threat we have so desparately needed and the fans realize that we cannot fail to take advantage and strongly urge Mr. Frank McCourt, Mrs. Jamie McCourt and Mr. Ned Colletti to resign Mr. Manny Ramirez to a long term contract.
