Not only our environment, but our spirit as humans needs for us to move towards all handmade production. Yes it is slower, and more expensive to make everything by hand, but would you rather own some piece of sterling silver jewelry made in China or a Handmade sterling silver jewelry made right here in the United States? Besides the quality factors you can always be assured that the environment is better taken care of with fewer chemicals, and cleaner production trends with handmade items. So if you would like to start out easier start with supporting an artisan of handmade artifacts such as Cody Sortore and one day move to making your own items by hand. Find something that drives your heart, and take it from there! Sterling silver jewelry just so happens to drive me, but what speaks to your heart? What is it that you want to do? Quit asking what the world needs, and start asking what you love, because what the world needs is real men, and real women that are alive and passionate.
