to Wizards of the Coast to resume online PDF sales

Wizards of the Coast has recently withdrawn their Role-Playing Game PDFs from all sites that sell such files, namely DriveThruRPG.com and RPGnow.com. These PDF sites were a great thing in many ways to be enumerated below:

1) That they made any RPG manual for which they had permission available as a PDF.
2) That these PDFs were available as soon as the book in question was released, giving one an alternative to waiting days or sometimes weeks for the nearest bookstore to make the book available.
3) That these PDFs, due to not being made of paper, were more affordable than their book counterparts.
4) That these PDFs were reasonably sized
5) That these PDFs were of visual quality comparable to their book counterparts.
6) That these PDFs were well-enhanced with Optical Character Recognition (making them easy to search for a given term using the "Find" function of one's PDF reader of choice.)
7) That these PDFs were significantly more portable than their book counterparts.

For these reasons the cessation of online PDF sales has been a large blow to the gaming community, who were forced once again to carry inordinate numbers of thick books to gaming sessions. We formally request that this decision be reversed.
