PLEASE HELP US STOP THE LARGE HADRON COLLIDER!

There are many people around the world (including physicists) who believe that the exploration of certain sub-atomic phenomena may cause catastrophic disasters, however remote the possibility. If there is a possibility that such experiments could irrevocably alter the structure of our world or universe, or perhaps even destroy it altogether, then no one person or group of persons should be able to undertake that risk.
The world's largest particle accelerator (running several kilometres underground France and Switzerland) is almost completed and will soon begin experiments with high-energy particle collisions THAT COULD RESULT IN strangelets, magnetic monopoles, micro black holes, AND vacuum bubbles.

Please sign this petition to stop this potentially disasterous project before it's too late. Add your voice to the several lawsuits that have been launched to halt the LHC in its tracks.
