We refuse to compensate victims of investment losses

Groups of investors who have become 'victims' of fraud are asking the Quebec government to reimburse their losses.

These investors made a choice with their own judgment knowing the risks of failure at hand. Quebec tax payers who had nothing to do with these people should not have to foot the bill and help bail these people out.

With investment comes risk and those not involved should not have to suffer.

Already as it is, we are in dire need of more services in the public sector. Giving these people millions of dollars will put a strain on an already strained public financial situation in the province.

In signing this petition, we ask that no level of government reimburse the victims of any financial fraud or schemes.
