Since 1948 the world has witnessed an going series of utter madness. It defies logic but yet the illogical is claimed to be the rational. Laws have been passed against this insanity but it continues to prevail. An illegal state is given absolute authority by an arrogant, hypocritical superpower to defend itself at any cost.
This cost is the lives of innocent people only wanting to live in peace on their land. It is this land which they gladly give their lives for, knowing that freedom means nothing without dignity.

For 58 years, the Palestinian people have suffered under intense oppression. The latest carnage in Gaza has been overshadowed by the Israeli's response to Hamas' retaliation. Israel holds the upper hand when it comes to playing the victim. The world stands by and does nothing. UN resolution after UN resolution is passed, but yet the Palestinians continue to live in sub-human conditions. Have we become immune to this sick reality?

Not too long ago in history, the world spoke out against apartheid in South Africa. Sanctions were placed against the country in every sphere. The country's sportsmen were banned from playing internationally. The sanctions worked. Apartheid eventually fell.

Israel is an apartheid state-an illegal state based on illegal, unlawful practises. Let us speak out against Israel. Let us pressure our governments to cut ties with Israel, and place sanctions against it. Let us boycott Israel!
