Rebuild the WTC Twin Towers

To:  The government of the United States, the government of the State of New York, the government of the State of New Jersey, the government of the City of New York, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey

We, the undersigned, hereby petition all Local, State and Federal Government agencies of New York, New Jersey and the United States in conjunction with the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation and the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey to rebuild the World Trade Center Twin Towers to the level they were before their destruction.

The citizens of the United States of America, in order to defeat the terrorists who orchestrated the events of September 11, 2001, hereby request the Towers, which represented our prosperity, our freedom, our determination and our resilience, be rebuilt to their former glory. They were an integral part of our great nation and a symbol of freedom to the world.

In order to truly defeat the evil that attacked our home, we must rebuild. We, the undersigned, greave for the families who lost loved ones in the terrible tragedy and firmly believe that not rebuilding would be a grave injustice to those who died. We wish to honor their spirits. Rebuild the Twin Towers and make them the monument to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and a constant reminder of those who continue to make that sacrifice. Create the memorial inside the Towers. Light the top floor of each Tower, signifying a shining beacon of hope for our country.

Let us rebuild and take these Towers to new heights! Let’s make them a thing of beauty that Old Glory herself would be proud of! Let them stand for who and what we are… AMERICAN!
