Petition for the simultaneous release of Mafia II in Europe and the USA
This petition is addressed to 2K Games and Take Two Interactive. The publisher set the release date of the game to the 24th August 2010 in the United States of America. All the gamers and fans in Europe and the rest of the world have to wait until the 27th August 2010. We, the undersigned, do not agree with these release dates.

Our request:
We want a worldwide simultaneous release of Mafia II.

Arguments:
Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven was a bestseller in Europe. The sales in the US were rather disappointing.
The majority of Mafia fans is located in Europe, especially the Czech Republic and Germany.
Mafia II is developed by 2K Czech (previously known as Illusion Softworks), who also developed the first game of the Mafia franchise. They are based in the Czech Republic, Europe.

The petition was initiated by mafia2game.cz with support of mafia-daily.net and other fansites around the world with the same opinion. All participating websites are listed on the picture below. Thanks to all the fansites for their support!

Diese Petition ist an 2K Games und TakeTwo Interactive gerichtet. Der Publisher von Mafia II gab kьrzlich die weltweiten Releasetermine bekannt. Demnach wird das Spiel in den USA am 24. August 2010 erscheinen. Die Spieler und Fans in Europa mьssen bis zum 27. August 2010 warten. Wir, die Unterzeichneten, sind mit den unterschiedlichen Terminen nicht einverstanden.
Unsere Forderung:
Mafia II soll weltweit gleichzeitig erscheinen.

Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven war in Europa ein Bestseller. Die Verkдufe in den USA hinkten den Erwartungen deutlich hinterher.
Der GroЯteil der Mafia-Fans lebt in Europa. Vor allem in Tschechien und Deutschland.
Mafia II wird vom Entwicklerstudio 2K Czech (zuvor als Illusion Softworks bekannt) entwickelt, welches sich auch fьr den ersten Teil verantwortlich zeigte. Die Firma hat ihren Sitz in Tschechien, Europa.

Die Petition wurde von mafia2game.cz unter Mithilfe von mafia-daily.net initiiert. Unterstьtzt wird sie von zahlreichen anderen Fanseiten auf der ganzen Welt, welche derselben Meinung sind.
