TO THE HONOURABLE THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE SENATE IN PARLIAMENT ASSEMBLED
We the citizens of New South Wales do hereby petition the Federal Government of Australia , to intervene in. and to end the ongoing crisis that exists in the New South Wales Public Hospital system.
We petition the Federal Government of Australia to exercise its powers and to take over the responsibility for the administration and the running of the public hospital system in New South Wales.
We petition the Federal Government of Australia to apply the democratic process and to hold a referendum to coincide with the New South Wales local council elections to be held on 13th September 2008 to determine if or not the majority of the citizens of New South Wales are in favour of a Federal Government take over of the New South Wales Public Hospital system.
