Call of Duty 4 for future MLG events

We, the Call of Duty 4 community, believe that this game should be an active part at all future Major League Gaming events. To keep this simple and sweet, I would like to inform everyone (for those who do not know) that Call of Duty 4 is still the most active game on www.gamebattles.com. The game was released in the November of 2007 and there is still a lot of hype about this game in the community.

Back in 2008, MLG announced that CoD4 would have their own Pro Circuit Ladders #1-3. The competition and the community have grown to become one of the most active games this past year. When CoD4 held the National Championships in Las Vegas, there was an incredible amount of support for this event. Even though only the Top 8 teams with the most MLG team points were invited to this ceremony, many individuals were not able to attend. Still the entire community was included in it, giving all of their support to the players and teams who were lucky enough to participate in it. The reason behind this was our community wanting to show the rest of the competitive gaming world that CoD4 can be a part big and solid part of MLG. Team FeaR, one of many CoD4 pro teams, demonstrated this by winning the event and giving CoD4 the exposure it deserved.

The hype heading into the 2009 season was extraordinary. We knew our beloved game could potentially be a choice for the future MLG events. The online Gamebattles tournaments, such as Holiday Classics #1-4, New Years Bash, Hardcore Showdown, 1v1 Sniper, and 1v1 MP5, are proof that our community cares deeply for this game, and wants to see it succeed in the future. With all of these online tournaments, CoD4 has more tournaments than any other game on Gamebattles.

As a whole, we feel that it would be a mistake to not have Call of Duty 4 as an event for the 2009 season. The names listed below are fellow supporters of the idea. The community hopes that you will feel as strongly as we do about this game. Thank you for your time.
