Australians want Daria back!

This petition has been written and signed with the purpose of convincing you, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, to resume screening episodes of the animated television series “Daria”, in it’s original unedited format, on a regular basis.

Despite the fact that the series has ceased production, the show still has a significant fan base in Australia. We would be very grateful to be able to view repeats of Daria, particularly as most of the series is not available for purchase, and therefore we have no other access to these episodes.

Furthermore, as you are no doubt aware, there is a second feature-length episode of Daria, a behind the scenes special and a retrospective special that have not yet been screened on Australian free-to-air television. Daria fans across Australia would also be very grateful to ba able to view these specials that we have not yet seen, and also have no chance of seeing through any other means.

We wish to be able to view episodes of Daria again and in order for this to happen, you, the A.B.C, must resume screening them. The A.B.C. has long had a reputation for screening an excellent standard of television. Please continue to live up to this reputation by refusing to abandon Daria, a program that surely lives up to your high standards.
