Creekview High School, part of the Cherokee County School District (Canton, Georgia), needs a Lacrosse Team. Several students, either moved to or native to Georgia, play Lacrosse and do not have a school team to participate on. Etowah High School and Woodstock High School both have teams.

Creekview is a large school and has brought many students of different backgrounds together. Many students have backgrounds from states that Lacrosse is major in. Lacrosse would be that spark to make Creekview's current athletic program even better.

A short history of Lacrosse:

Lacrosse developed in the northeast US with the Huron and Iroquois Tribes, as early the 12th century AD. It was played as a religious ceremony to; played to resolve conflicts, heal the sick, develop strong, virile men and prepare for war. A game would last for days and the field would be miles long.

Today, there are several leagues acrosse the country.

Please consider the addition, as it would be wonderful for the school to have. Lacrosse is a very intelligient sport, with teamwork unserpassed by any other sport.
