Impeach Jill Falstad

CORRECTION: Leilani Neumann Convicted May 22, 2009 and Dale Neumann trial set for July 23, 2009.

This petition is hereby presented in response to the unacceptable actions of Marathon County, WI District Attorney, Jill Falstad. We demand the Impeachment and Disbarment of Jill Falstad based on her intent to violate the civil rights of Dale and Leilani Neumann of Weston, WI.

District Attorney Jill Falstad has proceeded to prosecute Dale and Leilani Neumann in violation of the Wisconsin constitution and applicable laws. Dale and Leilani Neumann were charged with second-degree reckless homicide in the March 23, 2008, death of their 11-year-old daughter (Madeline "Kara" Neumann) from untreated diabetes at the family's rural Weston, WI home. District Attorney Jill Falstad supported a defective search warrant and a corrupt investigation that excluded exculpatory evidence and witnesses.

The Neumanns were not aware that their daughter Madeline "Kara" Neumann was suffering from a serious condition and were within their legal rights as prescribed by Wisconsin Statutes: 948.03 (6), 448.03 (6) and 48.981(3)(c)4; (To use prayer in lieu of medical or surgical treatment).

District Attorney Jill Falstad proceeded with two malicious prosecutions and labeled Dale and Leilani Neumann's Constitutionally Protected actions; (To use prayer in lieu of medical or surgical treatment) as "Religious extremism." - Marathon County District Attorney Jill Falstad also said it was wrong for Leilani Neumann to use her daughter, known by the nickname Kara, as a test of faith. But yet Jill Falstad used the tragedy of Dale and Leilani Neumann's daughter, Madeline "Kara" Neumann, as a test of political gain for her 2009 election as district judge.

Leilani Neumann was convicted of second-degree reckless homicide on May 21, 2009 and was labeled by District Attorney Jill Falstad as a "Religious extremist", to a jury. Her husband Dale Neumann still awaits his separate trial on the last known date of June 23, 2009.

Based on Attorney Jill Falstad's malicious prosecutions and disrespect for the law, we demand her Impeachment and Legal Disbarment.
