This petition has been made in response to the news that the UK television broadcasting company known as 'Channel 4' will NOT be making a third series (aka 'season') of the teen drama 'SUGAR RUSH'.

We, the undersigned, feel that the decision not to continue this show will be detrimental to our viewing pleasure in the year 2007 and shows a lack of initiative on the part of Channel 4.

We are hopeful that a UK broadcasting company will consider picking up the rights for 'SUGAR RUSH' and funding a third series to be shown in 07/08. We are also hopeful that, whether or not 'SUGAR RUSH' is continued, broadcasting networks across the UK will consider funding more LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) entertainment shows aimed at a LGBT audience, of which there is currently a distinct lack of.
