Finer points more for the politicians..
As youre aware as students of Northampton University your student union has been making some changes to the way your student union has been operating ON YOUR BEHALF. One profound change has been to stop de lush in trading at the union. We were told that we no longer suited the type of environment that the union wanted to create. We were also told that the actual University also did not want us there, since we make unnecessary mess (not true). We will remind the man who spoke those words to be aware that the University also has contract with catering companies that create more mess than us and on occasions breach some health and safety laws, but since de lush is a very small private business we are treated differently.
In any case we contacted the University and found the complaints they had were minor issues that we would happily obeyed by and have been resolved over the years between us and the union. We do notice that the trailer needs a new face lift, so that shall happen in the next few days and we have noticed that some of our vegetarian students need more variety and we have already devised a new menu for them.
As you can see we are trying are very best to conform to any standards set by your sabbaticals, your union and the University but remember that all of the them are working for you and if you want something, than you should have it.
