Dear Honourable Minister of Heritage,

I consider local news a vital part of our society.

Their presence in our communities may be disrupted in the near future do to the looming financial crisis.

Luckily, there is a solution.

I agree that cable and satellite companies should start paying for the signals they distribute, so that local news can remain in our localities.
