I will begin by describing who we are. We are the EEEuser Forum Community (forum.eeeuser.com) a website of over Seventy-Eight Thousand members. This forum is extremely comprehensive and the site of the majority of EEE related questions and ideas. If you doubt this statement simply google eee pc" and you will see that our website is fifth on the list of non-sponsored sites.
Now you have an idea of who we are, we would like a moment of your time to put forward a suggestion to your company; many of we the eeeusers see the 70x series as the best EEE PC ever made. The 701 4G was small, powerful, reliable, durable and modifiable. The 70x had only a few flaws, such as battery life. We would like to see a new 70x as your design period allows. The recommended specifications are as follows:
7" screen at 1024x600 resolution with PixelQi technology
Same sized body, or slightly smaller
Matte finish for body and screen
black color body
Similar keyboard and speaker layout
6 cell battery
16GB SSD or internal SDHC slot for SD card
Pine Trail chip for power-saving
Internal USB connector
1GB of RAM by default
Single Core Processor around 1.66GHz
Better cooling system
Linux OS such as Ubuntu NBR

We also have some optional features that could be included for a higher price if design allows:
