Release a new 1/72 C-17 Globemaster III scale model kit

This petition is designed to encourage Aircraft in Miniature to release a scale model kit of the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III in 1/72. Most enthusiasts will be aware that the range of aircraft kits available 1/72 is extensive, but that there is a glaring hole when it comes to large military transports.

The current offering from Combat is quite inadequate to say the least. Panda have 'announced' a possible future release of such a kit, but we are not convinced that they will actually go ahead. We are firmly convinced that AIM are the best placed company in the world to release such a kit, and that it would fit beautifully into their range.

Requests for the release of a 1/72 C-17 have consistently been at or near the top of 'Fine Scale Modeller's' annual most-requested-kits list for at least the last 2 years. The C-17 is a very famous aircraft, and we believe the time for a decent kit of this plane is now.
