FREE HOSSEIN (THOMAS) YADEGARY

We undersign are writing to express our strongest concern over the life of Hossein (Thomas) Yadegary.

We are submitting this letter in full support of Iranian Asylum seeker Hossein (Thomas) Yadegary born in Tehran - Iran , who has been detained in Mt Eden - Remand prison in the city of Auckland in New Zealand and who is in danger of deportation back to Iran. We call on the New Zealand Immigration Authorities to stop his deportation, and to consider his case under the UNHCR protection.

Mr. Yadegary having well-founded fear of persecution on the grounds of political opinion and religious matter would face a serious threat to his life and liberty should he be returned to Iran. We urge the New Zealand Immigration Authorities to immediatly release and save him under the International responsibilities.

We are looking forward to your positive response in this case and this life-threatening matter.
