Since the attack on America on September 11, 2001 there have been numerous questions raised about "what really happened". As a result of a number of independent investigations a group of people, who some call "truthers", have arisen and who are working toward finding out the truth. These people have rejected the findings of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, and seek to prove that the attacks on America were not conducted by foreign terrorists, but were in fact a false flag operation conducted by as yet unknown actors.
There are numerous serious questions about what happened that day, but one question in particular is answerable. According to the official version of what happened on September 11, 2001, a group of Arab hijackers flew American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon at 9:37 a.m. Eastern Standard time. Some, such as Professor David Ray Griffin in his many books on the subject, have suggested that there was in fact no airplane. Unfortunately the United States Government, with the exception of a few blurry frames from one camera, has refused to release footage from what some say are up to 100 security cameras.
The fact that the government has refused to release those tapes has led some to question what is on those tapes. Is the American government hiding something? Do the tapes in fact show flight 77 crashing into the Pentagon -- or do they show something else? There is only one way to answer that question definitively, and that is to release those tapes.
There are no national security issues involved in releasing these tapes. The American people, indeed the people of the world, have suffered much as result of the attacks on September 11, 2001 and in the interests of truth and justice for the many victims, both in the United States and later, around the world, we demand that those tapes be released immediately.
