I am writing this petition to show Ashlee Simpson that her fans still support her, through the good and bad things she has been going through.

Ashlee has a rocky start to her career. Ashlee stood strong after what she's had to deal with after SNL and the Halftime Show during the Orange Bowl.

Ashlee Simpson went on Saturday Night Live, when she had no choice to lip synch (because of severe acid reflux that day) and eventually went off stage after a track cue went wrong.

When it was time for Ashlees performance of Autobiography on SNL, her drummer messed up by pushing the wrong track, playing Pieces of Me.

Ashlee could do little more than dance around before shrugging her shoulders and left the stage in tears.

Immediately, her face was on every late night television show and music Web site, and even MTV ran stories on the possibly career-ending mishap.

Ashlee did not deserve this negative attention.

She had to lip synch that night because of severe acid reflux. That was the first time she ever used a backing track.

Ashlee proved her worth a few days later at the Radio Music Awards, where she sang Autobiography live and well.

She went on to win the Female New Artist of the Year award at the 2004 Billboard Music Awards, once again proving her worth as a solid artist.

Numerous stars lip synch during live performances.

Ashlee truly has talent: as a singer, songwriter, actress, model and performer.

Ashlee performed at this years Orange Bowl half-time show, only to booed throughout her performance and people then questioned her singing abilities.

Why are people always criticizing Ashlee?

Ashlee responds to her critism saying, Its like people are after me! The thing is Ive only been performing for a short time. Im not perfect and never claimed to be perfect. But Im learning-every time I perform, Im growing. And Im taking voice lessons. I am still very young, very new to the business. But one day, Im going to be exactly what I hope it to be.

The past six months have been phenomenal for Ashlee and 2005 looks set to be an even bigger year, with the release of her first movie Wannabe, which shes currently filming in LA, her upcoming tour is selling steadily, and the second season of MTVs The Ashlee Simpson Show begins January 26th.

Her debut album, Autobiography, was the tenth biggest album of 2004. It has sold more than 2.5 million copies, a million more than her older sister Jessica.

Ashlee passionately cares about her fans. She does all she could to please and entertain them. She has an amazing fan base.

She is young, gifted and has amazing singing & songwriting skills.

There may be people who think Ashlee should stop singing, but there are a lot more people who want her to sing.

Lets make Ashlee know we still support her through all the good and bad things she has been going through.
