Free Lauren Canario

To:  The State of Connecticut

We the people, are angry by the arrest and confinement of Lauren Canario by Connecticut Judge Kevin McMahon.
Lauren was protesting the taking of land by eminent domain, and was not a threat of any kind to her country or state.
She was reading a book on the front porch of a friend's house while protesting, but the authorities felt that her actions were that of a criminal.
She was arrested, confined, and was made to undergo a psychiatric evaluation by Kevin McMahon, because she would not talk to her captors.
By law, she had the right to remain silent.
Judge McMahon broke the law, and made her speak.
Unless Lauren waived her rights to have an attorney present, or if Lauren wanted an attorney present and was made to speak without that attorney, or if Lauren did not want to speak and was made to speak, then McMahon went outside the boundaries of the law if she was made to speak against her will.
Lauren Canario was arrested on September 22, 2006, and remains to this day in jail, for helping to protect a piece of property from being seized by the government for ownership by a corporation.
This kind of government action has been made illegal by the people, voters and most states across the country, because it is illegal to take property by force for the gain of corporate interest.
In other words, the government is putting money interests over the rights of the people.
This is what Lauren Canario was protesting.
While Canario is being held in jail, police around this country are beating people up (look at the sick use of force in a video by the LAPD in Hollywood, CA), and judges either look the other way, or side with the police.
There are elected officials who break the law, and yet remain free because nothing is done to them.
Lauren Canario hurt no one, did not make threats, beat no one up, and yet she is in jail.
This is wrong, and we the people, are putting up a fight on the behalf of Lauren Canario.
This petition to free Lauren Canario is just one of many items that I, George Vreeland Hill, has, and is presenting to many newspapers, television stations, radio networks, the Internet, and other sources in an attempt to expose Kevin McMahon and Lauren's captors and what they are doing to Lauren Canario.
I will not be stopped, and I will not be silent.
Neither will the people of this country!
