Motor City Relief

To:  U.S. Congress

We, the people, believe that aid to the BIG 3 automakers is a necessary and desperate action to save millions upon millions of jobs in an already fragile economy.

Agreement with this statement doesn't mean we agree/disagree that there won't/can't be restrictions and conditions attached to the aid package, but it means that there is an awareness that letting the BIG 3 fail would/will be detrimental to the country as a whole.

The BIG 3 should not be left to sink or swim in a country that it has been the foundation for since the early 20th century.

We, the people, understand there have been mistakes made by the BIG 3 and its leaders. However, the folly of a few should not mean the punishment for the multitude.
