Keep Jorja Fox on CSI

To:  CBS Broadcasting Executives/ CSI Producers and Writers/ Jorja Fox/ and CSI Cast and Crew

We, the undersigned viewers and fans of the CBS show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and the character Sara Sidle, played by Jorja Fox, are submitting this petition in response to the recent announcement that Jorja Fox will be leaving the show after the 7th episode of this 8th season.

Within 2 hours of the season eight premiere in which we see Sara's heart wrenching and awe-inspiring struggle for survival after being kidnapped by the miniature killer, our excitement over Sara's survival was severely dampened by Mike Ausiello's announcement in TV Guide On-line that Jorja Fox would be leaving the show in November.
With this petition, we, the fans, are imploring CBS and CSI to do everything in their power to keep Jorja Fox on the show so that she may continue to bring Sara to our screen each week.

Sara Sidle is a smart, strong, and hardworking woman who has survived and overcome a great number of tragic circumstances and events at a very young age and made something admirable of her life. She is a role model to young girls and women all over the world and is indispensable to CSI. Sara's character demonstrates to all viewers that with hard work and determination you can accomplish anything. She is the embodiment of today's modern, independent, free thinking woman, and her exit from the show would be devastating to her loyal fans and detrimental to the future success of CSI.

Therefore, we the fans demand that CBS keep Jorja Fox on CSI so that she may continue to breathe life into the unique character she portrays so well, and which has captured the hearts of fans around the world.
