If your from the north east of England, and worship rock music, I'm sure many of you are currently gutted like myself - At the choice not to include a date in Newcastle during the ongoing Black Ice tour.

Okay, firstly lets get things straight, Brian Johnson (aka Jonna), was born in Gateshead, (which for those of you who dont know is in the same borough/area as Newcastle). He spent many years playing with his local band 'Geordie' in the grubby, sweaty bars and pubs of the city. Brian himself has shown his love for his Hometown various times in AC/DC-era interviews, stating that he always put his heart into Newcastle United Football Club, and one day hoped to turn St james park into a gig venue as well as a football ground! He also talked about his love for Newcastles own world famous Brown ale.

Meanwhile, in 1979, AC/DC were strongly making headway in the world of rock. They were on the edge of becoming a truely iconic band, and you could probably sense that at the time, at the time touring the highway to hell album (my favourite AC/DC album ;)). AC/DC were, as Bon Scott once quoted in the late seventies, 'giving rock music a real kick in the guts!'

As the 1980s dawned, AC/DC hoped for even more commercial success, and ultimatly, to make the highway to hell follow up album the one which would 'blow peoples minds', and it did - just this time Bon Scott wouldnt be singing. It was Brian who got the call from the Young brothers, and passed an audition. His first album with AC/DC, back in black, was a commercial blockbuster, in fact, to this day, it still remains the 2nd largest selling album of all time in any genre of music, behind Micheal Jacksons Thriller.

Since then the success has continued large, only with a few minor slups in the mid/late eighties, as many of you other fans know but blah blah blah Im going to stop boring you people with facts Im going to get back to the point!

Since Brian has been at the helm, the band have only came to Newcastle on 4 of the 9 tours they have embarked on, which I dont think is good enough. Especially when you consider the fact the last time they played here was at the metroradio arena back in 1996, which is now a long distant 13 years ago. THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

To miss Newcastle out of what is 'rumoured' to the be the last tour by AC/DC, is a disgrace. Im not angry at the band, Im pointing the finger towards the money greedy tour organisers/marketers. The ones who are heartless businessmen and dont give a **** about the fans. I myself am a huge fan of AC/DC, thats why i created this petetion, and I would be gutted if I never got to see AC/DC perform live.

I'm sure there are many fans reading this petetion, they are the ones I seek, Im sure they have wittnessed an AC/DC show in their own respective towns - either on this tour, or some years ago. My aim is to get as many people (regardless if you are from here or not) to sign this petetion and let our feelings be known to Brian, that he still has a big home fanbase, and that we want to see him bring AC/DC here on the black tour.

LONG LIVE AC/DC!!!!!!!!!!!
