In 1964 Goodbye Charlie was released starring: Tony Curtis, Walter Matthau, Debbie Reynolds and Pat Boone. It has only ever seen the light of day through VHS and rare television runs. At the time, the matter of a man inhabiting a woman's body was quite the racy subject. Tony Curtis and Debbie Reynolds put on stellar performances and the film is full of witty, tongue and cheek humor.

A similar (but unsuccessful) film was made in 1991 entitled 'Switch' directed by Blake Edwards starring the sexy Ellen Barkin and a relatively unknown Jimmy Smits (Pee Wee's Playhouse, Cop Rock.)

Anyway, Goodbye Charlie is a great piece of Americana and deserves a full Special Edition BluRay and/or DVD treatment.
