Petition For A Floodlit All-Weather Playing Surface At Abertridwr Park

Abertridwr Park for many years has been the centre of leisure and sporting activity in the Aber Valley.

Whilst most of the facilities are reasonable and enjoyed by the Community, the old tennis courts have fallen into a state of disrepair.

This however represents an excellent opportunity to make Abertridwr Park an even greater asset to the Community.

This is a petition to Caerphilly County Borough Council to convert the disused tennis courts into a floodlit all-weather playing surface that can accommodate a number of local sporting groups, including local football and rugby for all ages, as well as private hire to other interested sporting parties.

Once up and running this development can create revenue for the Council through private hire, ensuring the benefits are mutual to both the Council and the Community.

We encourage you to support this worthwhile cause which will have lasting benefits for the Aber Valley and its residents!
