Justice 4 Nick and Alexa' Davidson

On Januray 21, 2002 the world lost a precious gift. A newborn baby by the name of Alexa' Nicole Davidson. Her father who we call Nick, the prosecution called him by his real name Dwight Davidson, was arrested and taken to trial on circumstancial evidence, a "theory", and a finger pointing mother avoiding prosecution herself. The mother was given immunity against thruthful statements, although her recollections of the events surrounding her daughter's death were inconsistant. She wrote letter's to Nick while he was in Kosovo during her pregnancy stating her negative feelings about having another child. She only attended 3 doctor visits which began in her fifth month. She always had an obvious detachment from her daughter. Nick was in heaven when his daughter was born. He is still so proud of her. Her grave has no head stone and this tears his heart out. Nick could not attend Alexa's funeral or be with his daughter when she was disconnected from life support. The mother told police Feb 20, 2002 she did not hear a thump while she was in the shower just before her daughter stopped breathing and over one year later when she took the stand she says she did. The Medical Experts testimony left a time frame giving both parents equal access to harm baby Alexa'. Nick was found not guilty of inflicting injuries upon Alexa' or murdering her. He was charged with failing to protect her form an Aggravated Assault or Aggravated Child Abuse and that this behavior led to her homicide. The prosecution still refuses to charge the mother with anything. Nick is in jail now and the mother is free. He has never had a chance to grieve for the loss of his daughter. He has just recently been able to come to terms with the fact that she was murdered. He was in love with the mother and could not see that she was lieing to save herself. The local police were called on the mother just 7 days after her daughter's funeral. Reportedly she verbally assaults her other daughter's father and allegedly vandalizes his car. A second police report was discovered almost one year later where she verbally asaults another citizen and refuses to leave her residence when asked. She testified at the trial that she was not easily angered.
Nick and his family have been trying deperately to get the prosecution to reopen the investigation. The first investigation only lasted one month and was completely inadequate. I would be more than happy to send you the case summary if you email a request to Justice4Alexa@yahoo.com.
By signing this petition you agree that Nick should come home to his family and finally begin to come to terms with the loss of his daughter. I know he does not plan on ever giving up on his fight to find the truth. In jail he is not safe. His charges involve a baby. It does not matter what the facts in the case are or what he was found guilty of, the word "baby" is all his fellow inmates hear. Help us bring a grieving father home. Nick has taken responsibility for not realizing his daughter was in need of his protection. He lives with the guilt and regret. He is reminded everyday because he knows he will never hold his daughter in his arms again.
