When the first season of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda was released as a box set in 2002, it was encoded for Region 4 DVD players and featured great quality sound and picture with great extras (Cast Interviews, Behind the Scenes featurettes, episode trailers etc.) that were encased in great packaging. The later seasons followed using the same formula. The only non-great element was the hefty price tag.
The show has now been remastered, has a more convenient sale price, but encoded in Region 0 NTSC. This results in the picture quality being not as smooth, plus the only extra features included were Deleted Scenes and Bloopers.
We the undersigned believe the original box sets held true value and would appreciate new copies being made, but with a selling price that is more convenient to the consumers and especially, the fans.
