Angel

This is a petition on behalf of all the fans of Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the UK. Angel debuted on Channel 4 in Britain on Friday 15th September 2000. I'm urging for all fans to sign this petition because of the outrageous scheduling of such a brilliant show. Angel is an ADULT show with ADULT content, yet Channel 4 bought this show and decided to show it in a 6pm time slot. In the US, Angel is screened after Buffy at 9pm and is considered a "darker" show with darker themes, such as the occult and contains far more graphic violence and swearing.

Already, since the first screening of the first episode, "City Of.." we have been subjected to 1 minute and 22 seconds of cuts and this episode wasn't particularly violent. That's 6% of your viewing pleasure lost! If this is how Channel 4 will continue then it can be guaranteed that the overall quality and substance of the show will be lost.

The main goal of this petition is to:

Move Angel to a later time slot to avoid cuts.

We would also like Channel 4 not to treat Angel like a children/ teen programme when it clearly isn't!

Sign this petition and we can save Angel from being ruined on Channel 4!
