Disney, bring back Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow! |
To: Walt Disney StudiosHorace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow first appeared in June 28th, 1929 in the Disney short, The Plow Boy. That mkes them much older then Goofy, and even Donald.
Horace and Clarabelle were always considered Disney's "odd couple" and have always been my number one favorites, along with many other fans. After Walt died, Disney made a big mistake by making Goofy and Clarabelle a couple... Horace then dissapeared. And as Goofy and Clarabelle broke up, Clarabelle too, disapeared.
They weren't seen again until A Christmas Carol came out, but only appeared for a breif moment in cameo appearances. Same thing with Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Horace then reapppeared as Mickey's adviser in Prince and the Pauper and the odd couple returned in various disney shorts sicne, and even play important roles in the House of Mouse. They have even joined Mickey and the gang in the Disney Babies series. Disney has even thought about making a TV series after Horace Horsecollar, called Maximum Horsecollar. Instead, they produced cartoons like Timon and Pumba, and 101 Dalmations.
The point is, they both used to be very popular characters, and are now secondary characters. And I don't think that it is fair to them, or Walt. This petition is to hopefully bring them back from their animated grave, and shine once again. So if you agree, or if you're a fan of this "odd couple" please sign the petition!Sincerely,
