Save Scott D Eagles Skatepark

To:  DC Metropolitan Area Community

I am putting up this petition to get the community together to "Take Back Our Skatepark" from the forces of inferior quality skatepark construction potentially coming to Veterans Park in Prince William County. This used to be a destination park on the East Coast in the early nineties & we deserve better.

This preliminary petition is here so we can get phone #s, emails & stay informed in this time crunch. I have skateboarded for 25 years & have seen plenty of terrible things & good things...& with the county awarding the skatepark design bid to American Ramp Company, WE should all be feeling VERY uncomfortable.

Remember, WE are the ones that fought & voted for this Parks & Rec Bond a few years back - lets not let these designers or builders walk on us & tell us what we "think" we may want. sign this, lets get together - & make a difference.
