I am making this Petition to get a bmx only park built in Tucson Arizona.
My 14 year old brother Kory Laos was struck and killed two days before his 15th birthday by a suv while he was riding his bike downtown. I want a bmx park for kids to ride at so they don't get injured or potential killed by motorists. There is Three skate parks in Tucson. There is only one skate park in Tucson that allows bmx bike and it is the continental ranch skate park. But bikes are only allowed in the park two days a week from 6 pm to 9 pm and by that time it is already getting dark and then they turn the lights out at 9 pm. Tucson is supposed to be a bike friendly town and there is not one place to ride bmx with out getting in trouble. If kids ride around public places they get arrested and there bike get impounded. I am asking you to please sign this so the city will build a bmx park In Tucson
