Jive Records : Do Somethin'

Jive Records has decided not to release the new internationally popular single by Britney Spears, "Do Somethin'" in the United States. The song has already seen success worldwide reaching the top spot in many European, Asian, and South American countries as well as in Australia. It has currently (as of April 12, 2005) spent 2 weeks at number 1 on the worldwide airplay chart. NUMBER 1 WORLDWIDE! This success is even slightly being echoed in the U.S. with the song jumping onto the Billboard Top 100 at number 100 even though the song hasn't even been released! It also has spent many weeks at MTV (USA) TRL's top spot and hasn't fallen off the top 10 yet and it's in its 8th week of special release (the music video is released to MTV, VH1, etc... but the song is not released to US radio.)

This petition is to state that Jive Records should give a full release of the worldwide mega-hit "Do Somethin'" to US radio, etc... for the good of Britney Spears and her fans (the people who dish out the money for CDs, Singles, and Concert Tickets to keep her a mega-star)
