Below Tha Surface Should Get Radio Play

To:  Atlanta Music Fans

We are asking you to sign this petition to help get Atlanta Hip-Hop group Below Tha Surface on the radio. We need you to sign if you agree that our music is as good as or better than what is on the playlists of 95.5 The Beat, Q100, HOT 107.9, and V-103 in Atlanta. You can go to their respective websites to see what they play. All of these stations expressed content for the music, but basically asked us to build a buzz and give them a reason why they should play it. This is where you, the music fans, come in to play. Please sign this petition to help us out. To be fair to these stations, you can check out our music at www.belowthasurface.com/music.html to see if you like it enough to request on the radio.

Below Tha Surface has earned the right to get airplay with such accolades to their credit as follows:
a. Performed on Showtime at the Apollo in front of millions of TV viewers
b. Appeared on Spike TV’s reality tv show “On the Road”
c. Performed at the 2005 FedEx Orange Bowl Beach Bash and Tailgate Party, sharing the stage with Big Boi (from OutKast), Ashley Simpson, and JoJo
d. Won the 2003 Rocket to Fame contest in Atlanta, beating out over 180 pre-screened acts in Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Acoustic, Rock, and Country.
e. Their new cd features Scales from Nappy Roots, and production by B5 producer Vision
f. Appear in the April issue of Southeast Performer Magazine, which is distributed in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee
g. They’ve been winning talent showcases year after year in Atlanta
h. Opened up for Lil Jon, Run DMC, Nappy Roots, Pastor Troy, Bonecrusher
i. Obtained radio play on WRFG, Atlanta
j. These boys have been grinding out for years and have fun, radio-friendly music that needs to be given a chance by Atlanta radio
k. Had over 20,000 song downloads from their website in December 2004 and January 2005
